Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) is a formal request from an individual for a copy of their personal data, as well as other information about how it is being processed. DSARs are regulated under NDPR (Nigeria Data Protection Regulation) and provide individuals with more transparency and control over their personal data. DSARs are often used by individuals who want to ensure that their personal data is being properly handled by the organizations they have shared it with. In some cases, DSARs may also be used to request the deletion of personal data.
